Both of our Animal Welfare Experts continue to evaluate our existing training programs, our on-boarding process for hiring new employees and the continuous education of employees.
We have completed the installation of cameras wherever we have employee and animal interaction. We are now able to monitor and analyze all of the interaction footage from our 70+ cameras.
Our Animal Welfare Expert, Dr. Enid Mendoza, is responsible for and oversees all of the monitoring observers.
Multiple audits have been performed with positive results in the last 60 days and there will continue to be frequent and unannounced audits going forward. Audits will be an incredibly useful tool for our Animal Welfare Experts in helping to refine and continuously improve our animal welfare practices.
