Visit Fair Oaks Farms with mind-blowing and entertaining interactive exhibits. Experience agriculture in a whole new way by taking a break in the country. Learn and play in our activity centers. We partner with modern working farms so you can absorb the farming lifestyle in the air-conditioned comfort of our farm buses. Sample our award-winning cheeses. Witness the miracle of life at our birthing facilities.

General Admission (September-May)

Admission to farm grounds is free. Tour packages at additional costs. We recommend experiencing at least one during your visit.
No admission cost is required to enter the Farmhouse Restaurant, Cowfé, BP & Dairycatessen or The Market.

Two-Day Admissions tickets ($38.00) are available now for any Adventure! Keep the fun going… turn any day of Adventures into two! Present any Two-Day Admissions ticket from the previous day and receive free admission for the next consecutive day! All two-day tickets must be redeemed on the second consecutive day from original purchase. Proof of original purchase must be shown. All online purchases are final. Be sure to explore our Memberships!

Fair Oaks Farms accommodates large groups! Bring your herd and experience an Adventure for all ages! Small groups under 20 are welcome without prior notification. For groups of 20 or more, advanced notice is required.

Clothing

Wear casual, comfortable clothing that you can play in!

Plan for the Weather

We have both indoor and outdoor activities and are open rain or shine.

Live Animals

You will see live animals on our farm however, we are biosecure so there is no human interaction.

Timing & Duration

We suggest you arrive in the morning to fit in everything you want to see! Each Adventure takes between 2 – 3 hours.

The Adventures are self-guided so spend as much time at each exhibit as you like!

Nope, just come on in! We recommend that your visit begins in the morning so that you have plenty of time to visit all of our attractions. Be sure to make time for lunch at our Cowfé or Farmhouse Restaurant!

We recommend 2 hours for each- The Dairy Adventure and Pig Adventure. They are mostly self-guided tours so you can slow down or speed up to accommodate your own pace. Add 1 hour for The Crop Adventure. Add 1 hour for Mooville.

Fair Oaks Farms is on Central Standard Time. (Chicago Time)

There is a Mother’s Lounge available in our Feedbarn, located right next to our Admission Building. This lounge allows privacy and a quiet spot for you and your child(ren).

Come Visit the Farm

Tours are open rain or shine, Mon-Sat 9AM-5PM and Sun 10AM-5:00PM. It’s a full day or a full weekend of hands-on education, laugh-out-loud fun, and great food. We’ll see you on the farm.
