The Dairy Adventure

Join us during the Dairy Adventure Program! This program encourages you to play as you learn, by opening up a fun space for dairy discovery including learning how to use a “real” milking station. Understand the meaning and use of TMR, nutrition of the animals, and how Robotics are used in a Volunteer Milking System. Showcase Engineering when you explore the structure of the ecosystem in our milking parlor and use Math to figure out why logistics play such a vital role in the integrated farm operation.

The Pig Adventure

Participating in the Pig Adventure Program will help students learn all about pork and its benefits and discover the growth cycle of pigs from little piglets to a full-grown sow, gilt, or boar. Monitor the development of baby pigs and see how the farm works cohesively. You will get first-hand knowledge about how our feeding system is engineered to monitor animal intake, we calculate growth rates to ensure pigs are getting what they need, and how we ensure the animals are well cared for.

The Crop Adventure

Explore the Crop Adventure Program to learn about the importance of working to feed 9 BILLION people, the many uses of corn outside of consuming it, and how we can be sustainable with limited resources. See how a tractor can tell you about the nutrients in the soil. Explore how technology assists farmers in addition to pollinators and the amazing biodiversity on the farm.

Visit Fair Oaks Farms with mind-blowing and entertaining interactive exhibits. Experience agriculture in a whole new way by taking a break in the country. Learn and play in our activity centers. We partner with modern working farms so you can absorb the farming lifestyle in the air-conditioned comfort of our farm buses. Sample our award-winning cheeses. Witness the miracle of life at our birthing facilities.

General Admission (September-May)

Admission to farm grounds is free. Tour packages at additional costs. We recommend experiencing at least one during your visit.
No admission cost is required to enter the Farmhouse Restaurant, Cowfé, BP & Dairycatessen or The Market.

Present any Two-Day Admissions ticket from the previous day and receive free admission for the next consecutive day! All two-day tickets must be redeemed on the second consecutive day from original purchase. Proof of original purchase must be shown. All online purchases are final. Fair Oaks Farms accommodates large groups! Bring your herd and experience an Adventure for all ages! Small groups under 20 are welcome without prior notification. For groups of 20 or more, advanced notice is required.

We have both indoor and outdoor activities and are open rain or shine.

Live Animals

You will see live animals on our farm however, we are biosecure so there is no human interaction.

Timing & Duration

We suggest you arrive in the morning to fit in everything you want to see! Each Adventure takes between 2 – 3 hours.

The Adventures are self-guided so spend as much time at each exhibit as you like!
