Once an employee finishes the onboarding process of initial training of their job description, on the job safety and animal welfare policies they are then put under the guidance of a certified mentor. That mentor, who has proven their ability to perform at the highest level at their job and who also has the ability to communicate and teach, then has the trainee work next to them for a period of time until they feel confident that the trainee has the understanding of the how’s and why’s of the job. Only then can the trainee be given a final performance review by the veterinarian doctor and given the responsibility of that job.
