World Milk Day
Childhood should be about playing outside and making memories with your friends. It should be about laughter and learning. A child should never have to worry about when their next meal will be or how they will get it. That’s why this year, Fair Oaks Farms is celebrating World Milk Day in a big way.
Every year, millions of children are battling hunger. The numbers rise in the summer months without school programs to assist them. Feeding America and the Great American Milk Drive partner together in order to feed more than 12 million children a year. And although donations across the country help local food pantries, it’s hard for those in need to receive fresh milk on a consistent basis which provides essential nutrients that power childhood activities.
Join Us for World Milk Day
This summer, Fair Oaks Farms is working to help nourish children by joining forces with Dairy Management Inc. and Feeding America to help kids facing hunger. On June 1 – World Milk Day, Fair Oaks Farms will be donating a portion of their ticket proceeds to the Great American Milk Drive in order to help get fresh milk to kids.
