What’s Going on at Fair Oaks Farms – February Update
Fairfield by Marriott
As most of you know, Fair Oaks Farms has been going through a lot of changes over the past year. Since November 2017, we’ve been working long and hard hours preparing our hotel, the Fairfield by Marriott® Fair Oaks Farms for its opening.
Finally, in January 2019, this gorgeous 100-room hotel opened its doors to the first guests.
It’s ready to be your Spring Break 2019 destination, equipped with an amazing pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, family suites and connected to our Farmhouse Restaurant via a climate-controlled walkway.

The Dairy Adventure
Since 2004, The Dairy Adventure at Fair Oaks Farms has been teaching families, students, scouts and more about the life of a dairy cow. You were able to learn about our sustainability efforts and how we turn our cows’ manure into fuel.
You were able to learn about the cow’s many stomachs and the process of them eating their food. We teach you about TMR (total mixed ration), a well-balanced diet that we provide all of our girls.
learn all about how we preserve several acres of our land for natural habitat and to protect the environment. We also teach about the history of dairy farming and how it has progressed into what it is today.
Although those messages and lessons won’t be lost, our Dairy Adventure was in dire need of a facelift. It has provided our guests so much fun over the course of its fifteen-year life, that we decided it was time to get a fresh new look and add new games, new learning experiences and update it into a state-of-the-art attraction.
Fair Oaks Farms has partnered up with some great businesses including John Deere and Ecolab for some of the exhibits in the newly renovated attraction.

The Orchard
Get ready…get set…pick!
We are beyond excited about this new attraction that we are opening in the fall of 2019. Our orchard has been growing for the past six years and is finally mature enough for apple picking.
Many of you participated in our soft opening this past fall. We opened our gates to a limited amount of folks to practice for our grand opening and were so pleased with the outcome. We enjoyed seeing little ones biting into our crisp apples.
Our trees are dwarf apple trees, meaning that they’re short enough that even the smallest guest can pick on their own. No ladders needed at our orchard.
In addition to our new attractions, you can also enjoy our annual events.
May 11 – Fair in the Air
June 8 – DogAPalooza
October 5 & 6 – CowtoberFest
December 14 – Holiday Farm Frenzy
Looking forward to a great year with great people!
