Just a short outdoor walk from our Dairy Adventure Museum, experience the miracle of life at our unique Birthing Barn where visitors can view live calf births daily.
Sit in our audience area and observe our dedicated team providing quality care to laboring mother cows. Witness newborn calves taking their first steps and receiving their first bottle feeding.
When no births are in progress, visit our nursery to see the newest members of our herd. Please help maintain a peaceful environment by speaking quietly while in this building.
Included in your general admission is an optional tour to visit a working dairy farm!
Board one of our buses as we take you on an approximately 1 hour and 15-minute trip to see how a modern large scale dairy farm operates.
You will make stops and depart the bus at a 72-cow rotary milking parlor, and a robotic milking parlor.
As you ride through the farm, you’ll see how cows are fed, housed, and cared for.
Included in your general admission is an optional tour to visit a breed-to-wean pig farm.
On this 1 hour and 30-minute tour, you’ll board our bus to be transported to a local modern pig farm where our tour guides will lead you through areas that overlook the pig barns.
Live a life in the day of a pig! Explore the different hallways to learn about large-scale pig farming and watch a pig’s journey through growing, breeding and gestation, and farrowing.

Our Fairfield by Marriott is connected directly to our Farmhouse Restaurant for warm and convenient walks to the restaurant. Our indoor pool area is a great way to have fun while staying inside! Our pool area has pool basketball, a water slide for the little ones, and a hot tub, too. Have fun in the water while taking in the pool art all around the area.
Want to go on a run, but stay inside the hotel? We have an onsite fitness room for guests to workout, yet stay out of the snow or rain. The fitness room also has a water refueling station for you to stay hydrated while you exercise.

We’re adding more fun to our Fairfield by Marriott during spring break to make you laugh more and stay longer at Fair Oaks Farms! During the evenings from March 19 – April 5, 2026, hotel guests are able to gather around bonfires outside the hotel to roast s’mores, enjoy a magic show on Tuesdays in the hotel breakfast area, and watch movies in the Farmhouse Ballroom during select dates. Plus, our Ropes Course will be open later every Thursday and Saturday (admission is $8 per person), and Mooville will be open during the day from March 19 – April 5, 2026.

Ropes Course
With multiple tiers to suit a range of ages, our indoor ropes course is exciting and fun to tackle. It’s the perfect way to relieve energy on a cooler or rainy day. From March 19 – April 5, 2026, our Ropes Course will be open later from 5pm-7pm CT on Thursdays and Saturdays! Admission is $8 per person.

We have both indoor and outdoor activities and are open rain or shine.
You will see live animals on our farm. However, we are biosecure so there is no human interaction.
We suggest you arrive in the morning to fit in everything you want to see! Each Adventure takes between 2 – 3 hours.
The Adventures are self-guided, so spend as much time at each exhibit as you like!
We have 3 on-site restaurants ready to fuel your stomachs for a day of fun!
