On May 29, Fair Oaks Farms is proud to partner with Providence Wildlife Rehabilitation for a one-day-only event transforming our Nature Trail into a Wildlife Trail!
As you walk the trail, you’ll see rehabilitated native wildlife birds, and have the opportunity to learn about the animals through an up-close look and interaction with their handlers. In addition to being an excellent opportunity to learn more about native birds, this is also an event that allows you to support them directly: we’ll be donating half of our proceeds to Providence Wildlife Rehabilitation!
How do I purchase tickets? How much do they cost?
Purchase tickets at the Admission Building for $2/person. No advance purchase is needed!
When can I see the animals?
The Wildlife Trail is open from 1pm-5pmCST on Saturday, May 29.
Is the event subject to weather cancellation?
No! We’ll host the event rain or shine. In case of inclement weather, we’ll be in the Feed Barn!
How long is the trail?
The trail is about one mile long and on light gravel. This trail is not friendly for wheelchairs or strollers.
Which animals will I be able to see?
There will be about six wild animals there with their trainers. Because the wildlife rescue is always changing, we don’t know for sure which animals will be with us that day.
Will I be able to touch the animals?
Although these animals are rehabilitated, they are still wild animals and prefer not to be touched. There will be specific stations set up where you can touch and see biofacts about the animals.
Can I book a hotel package with this?
Yes! The Fairfield by Marriott at Fair Oaks Farms features a pool, water-slide, and fitness center – perfect for families looking to make a weekend of their Easter experience!
