One of Northwest Indiana’s Best Fall Festivals
October 5 & 6, 2019
10:00am – 4:00pm CST
10:00am – 4:00pm CST
CowtoberFest features an array of great FREE entertainment such as our celebrity pumpkin carvers, Jon Neill & David Smith from the Food Network, live music on the main stage, a costume contest, crafts and trick-or-treating.
Our U-Pick Orchard is a beautiful 40-acre orchard with 8 different varieties of apples.
It’s not your typical orchard. Our orchard is not commercial-designed but rather has a back-to-the-farm feel with a lot of airy and open lanes.
With the purchase of a wristband, kids can enjoy many fun activities such as rock climbing, our inflatable bounce pillow, a train ride and so much more. Activities that require a wristband will be marked. Wristbands can be purchased at the Orchard Store or at the Admissions Building.
Join us on Saturday, October 5 for the Indiana Pumpkin Grower Association Fall weigh-off. See some of the biggest pumpkins you will ever see! After the contest, see some of the giant pumpkins being carved from our very own celebrity pumpkin carvers, Jon Neill and David Smith.
Admission to the festival is free. Admission to the Adventures is normal pricing which can be found on the Plan Your Visit page.
Yes! We encourage you to dress in costume. We have a kids costume contest and costume parade which are free to participate in. We also feature trick-or-treating at our vendors both days from 10:00am – 12:00pm CST. Please make sure all costumes are family friendly.
The festival is located at Fair Oaks Farms, 856 N 600 E, Fair Oaks IN 47943. It will be on the west side of the main buildings.
