Chanute Prize Follow-Up: A Chance to Donate Money to Riley Hospital for Children
Thursday, March 4, 2010, 3:18 PM - General
Posted by Marketing
Back in October, Fair Oaks Farms received the 2009 Chanute Prize for Team Innovation presented by the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana. Receiving this award resulted in a five hundred dollar contribution to the charity of Fair Oaks Farms' choice.

Fair Oaks Farms chose to donate this money to Riley Hospital for Children. John Davies, managing director at Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana, and Cal Bellamy, partner at Krieg DeVault, presented the $500 check to Riley Hospital for Children on behalf of Fair Oaks Farms.

Gary Corbett said a few words in regards to this great opportunity to donate to Riley, “We at Fair Oaks Farms are very proud to be able to help support the great work Riley is doing to conquer the illnesses impacting children. We are a family farm and our children are our most important 'crop.' We are very grateful that should our children or any child fall ill that Riley is there as an institution of healing for all.”

We are very grateful for this opportunity to receive this award and also to be able to donate money to a wonderful organization that has been providing care and support to children and their families for years!
