It was a beautiful day in Indianapolis yesterday, and a perfect opportunity to show our support for the Indianapolis Colts and do some tailgating with the best fans in the NFL!
We set up our booth, and brought Bessie Blue along, and it was a great day at Lucas Oil Stadium for football fans of all ages. And let's not leave out the fact that the Colts pulled off yet ANOTHER win, in preparation for next Sunday's game against New England. As the Official Milk of the Indianapolis Colts, we are extremely proud of our team, and look forward to next week's battle against the Patriots.
Going to next week's game? So are we! Look for us in the Colts' tailgating area - we'll be handing out delicious cheese samples and comforting cups of Fair Oaks Farms hot chocolate to everyone who stops by!

We'd like to thank all of the FFA Members who stopped by Fair Oaks Farms on their way to (and from, or to AND from) the National Convention in Indianapolis last week. All in all, we had over 5,000 FFA members on site to see, hear, taste and experience our dairy! 5,000! Can you believe it?!
We're glad to have had a chance to host so many of the future stewards of American agriculture, and look forward to seeing you all next year.
Fair Oaks Farms is a proud sponsor of the FFA and is delighted have once again been a part of the 2009 FFA National Convention. We recognize the importance of this organization and its 80+ year dedication to bringing together students, teachers and agribusiness in order to solidify support for agricultural education.

Last night, Fair Oaks Farms was presented with the 2009 Chanute Prize for Team Innovation by the Society of Innovators of Northwest Indiana.
The honor was given out at the Fifth Annual Northwest Indiana Innovation Awards Induction at Horseshoe Casino Hammond. Selection is based upon nominees meeting the Society's criteria for individual and project team innovations. This consists of an individual or team introducing new and different ideas that are implemented and benefit the quality of Life of Northwest Indiana.
"We are celebrating 35 individuals and teams that are making a difference through innovation in the region, state and world," said J. Guadalupe Valtierra, Chancellor, Ivy Tech Northwest.
It's an honor to be nominated for and receive this award, and we look forward to continuing to provide Northwest Indiana with a business and organization that we can all be proud of!
You can read more about the award here.
