Fair Oaks Farms® Master Cheesemaker Bruce Workman’s Smoked Gouda took home first place honors at the 2018 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Product Contest held in Madison, WI on August 21-23! Fair Oaks Farms has been the recipient of numerous awards at the World Dairy Expo Championship since first entering in 2004.

Who doesn’t love a good Mac and Cheese recipe? Try this easy-to-make recipe featuring Fair Oaks Farms’ award-winning Smoked Gouda cheese! WARNING: It has a kick to it!
Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese
- 1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (16 oz.) package seashell pasta
- 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tbsp. butter
- 2 1/2 cups Fair Oaks Farms milk
- 4 oz. Fair Oaks Farms' Smoked Gouda cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a 15x10 baking dish.
Boil a large pot of lightly salted water.
Add package of seashell pasta and cook for 8-10 minutes. Drain.
Over medium heat, melt butter in a small saucepan. Mix all-purpose flour. Cook until a roux forms. Stir in the Fair Oaks Farms milk, salt, and ground white pepper. Stir until sauce thickens.
Remove from heat. Stir in shredded Fair Oaks Farms' award-winning Smoked Gouda cheese.
Combine cooked pasta and cheese sauce. Transfer to prepared dish.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes, or until heated.
Serve dish to guests. Enjoy!
